It all started when…

I have been a registered massage therapist since 2003, and resident of the wonderful town of Baden since 2008. I grew up witnessing the women in my family suffer from headaches and migraines. As I reached my teens, I started to experience them also. When faced with deciding a career path, I chose to dedicate myself to helping fellow sufferers through massage.  In 2007 I graduated from McMaster University with a BA (Hons) in Psychology where I focused the majority of my studies on neuropsychology, specifically headaches and migraines. To ramp up my treatment skills in this area I have taken courses in Active Release Techniques®, medical acupuncture, cupping massage, fascial work, and several other courses focusing on treating neck and head.

Some other common issues I work on include jaw and neck pain, sciatica, discomfort from pregnancy, and pain/discomfort from postural issues (including tingling in hands, headaches, upper back aches, and low back discomfort).

20 years in, I still love what I do. I still get excited about taking a really interesting course and using my new knowledge to benefit clients. And, of course, I am always happy to see my clients!
